Author of the Lockwood & Co. book series
Jonathan Stroud is the author of the internationally bestselling series The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Lockwood and Co, and The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne. He started writing whilst working as an editor for Walker Books. His books have been published in over 36 languages across the world. He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three children.
Lockwood & Co. Comic Artist
Rachele Raka, known online as doodlingraka, is an illustrator and French comics artist based in Italy. She has worked previously on the French comics La Moira (Issues 1 and 2) published by Glénat and Les Mythics (Issue 14) published by Delcourt. Raka is currently working on the first-ever French comic adaptation of the Lockwood & Co. series by Jonathan Stroud; a project that she committed years to getting off the ground. She has long been beloved by Lockwood & Co. fans for her prominent fan art.
Director (Episodes 2, 3, and 4)
William McGregor is a writer and director of BAFTA award winning Film and Television and Cannes Lion award winning commercials. He is the director of episodes 2, 3, and 4 of Lockwood & Co. (2023). William has directed many standout moments in the show such as the Annabel possession scene, the emotionally charged bandage scene and the thrilling Combe Carey Hall scenes. His debut feature film, Gwen (2018), has won two Welsh BAFTAs and was nominated for a British Independent Film Award. William also directed the This World story arc for His Dark Materials (2019).
Lead Graphic Designer
Sophie Powell is a Buckinghamshire based freelance graphic designer for film and TV who has worked on the production design for numerous BAFTA award winning projects such as Last Night in Soho (2022), Rocketman (2020), and Patrick Melrose (2019). She worked as Lead Graphic Designer on Lockwood & Co. and was responsible for distinct visual design elements in the show. Prominent examples include: the Fittes agency branding, including Lucy’s agent manual and the Fittes at 50 ball invites; ghost cult flyers and signage; and the legendary 35 Portland Row Thinking Cloth.
Acting Coach on Lockwood & Co. (2023)
Gilly Tompkins is an actress and acting coach with an honors degree in Theater Arts from Leeds University and 40 years of experience in the industry. On Lockwood & Co. she served as the assistant acting coach and was responsible for guiding the lead cast on embodying what would go on to be well-loved character traits; most famously: Lockwood’s signature “swagger”.
Costume Designer
Claire Finlay-Thompson is a London-based costume designer who has worked on many projects including My Oxford Year (2025), Official Secrets (2019) and Lost In Space (1998). She received a nomination in 2016 for Costume Design by the Royal Television Society (RTS) Craft and Design Awards for Hunderby (2012-2015). Claire worked on Lockwood & Co. as a costume designer for Ruby Stokes, Morven Christie, Luke Treadaway and others. She is looking forward to sharing her on-set experience with the fans.
Actress
Hayley Konadu is a British theater and television actress known for Marvel's Moon Knight (2018), HBO's The Third Day: Autumn (2020) and the play WAKES (Bunker Theater). She is a Resident Director at Generation Arts where she also serves as a facilitator for acting and theater workshops with organizations such as the National Youth Theater. In Lockwood & Co. (2023), Hayley plays Florence "Flo Bones" Bonnard, Lockwood's old friend and the only relic girl in London. Her character becomes integral to the success of Lockwood & Co's mission in the latter half of the show.
